Do you ship internationally?
Yes to most countries. However, international buyers would be responsible for duties & taxes on their orders.
When your order ships, you'll receive an email confirmation with your shipment tracking number and a link to the shipping company website where you can get tracking info.
Why is my tracking information not appearing?
Even though your package has shipped, it may take up to 48 hours for tracking information to appear on a carrier’s website. This is due to the timing of updates made by the carrier’s tracking system.
Do I need to do stay home to accept the delivery?
No. Your order does not require a signature upon delivery, but it does come with a tracking number which will show where it is transiting through so you'll know when to expect it.

Can I cancel my order?
As long as the order has not begun processing, there's still time to change your mind. Unfortunately once your order has been processed & shipped it cannot be cancelled. Our return policy is very friendly, so that can be alternative if you still wish to cancel your order!
Must I create an account to shop on this site?
No you do not need to create an account to shop on this site.
I'm shopping for a gift/ do you sell gift cards?
If you will be purchasing as a gift, we'll be more than happy to include for free a little card with your requested message with your order. Upon checking out, just put in your requests in the field marked as 'special request'. Unfortunately, we do not offer gift cards at the moment, but you can always send message here and we'll see if something can be worked out.
What happens after I've placed my order?
You would get an email immediately after you've placed a successful order. Please check that the shipping address is right on there. When your credit card or payment method you've used has been charged, you will get your shopping receipt. Right about then, your order will be shipped out and you will get an email with a tracking number for your order.
Where's my confirmation email?
If you did not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of successfully placing your order then you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Please also check your spam folder as it may have gone in there. ABOUT THE PANTS
What is the 'one size'?
They are (for now) in one size. There will be more sizing options in the next collection! The pants are made to fit loosely at the hips and have plenty of space with a stretchy elastic band at the waist and ankle. It is important that the length and rise of the pants are comfortable for you. Here is more sizing info.
Who, what or how are they made?
It's sewn by a small family-run business. The fabric motifs are hand patterned from the technique of Batik Canting hence the irregularities due to human nature. Take your time and trawl through the travelogue to discover more of the sights & scenery that inspired The Travel Apparel.
What's this small card with my order?
Each piece of clothing comes with an Authenticity Card signed by the person who made it, complete with care instructions on the reverse. The Travel Apparel is made with pride by real people and this one way of putting a name where it's deserving.
What I wanted to buy is sold out...
Unfortunately it's not possible to bring it back. The fabric colors & prints are seasonal and made in limited quantities. While there would not be identical pieces made at a later time, there would definitely be ones with similar colors & pattern style. Follow The Travel Apparel on Instagram, it's the best way to see sneak previews of new collections coming out!
What's the material?
100% Cotton or 100% Silk is used for each pair. The cloth patterns are from a hand made stamping block. Due to the human nature, there will be slight pattern variations from pair to pair.
Clothing Care Instructions
For cotton pants: machine wash in a mesh laundry bag and line dry.
For silk pants: hand wash and flat dry to avoid getting wrinkles. Avoid sitting on rough surfaces, velcro and sharp jewelry that might snag on the silk pants.
Your purchase also comes with care instructions.
In the closet: hanging it on a hanger bar will smoothen out any wrinkles. Do not clip up with a trouser hanger.
My silk pants has a small snag!
If it does get a small snag, you can usually straighten that thread back in to the weave by gently pulling across and easing the thread back somewhat in to the cloth. Bigger snags are much harder to smoothen out. Carefully clip the snagged thread out then smoothen the remains back in to the cloth.
